Conflux minicon

I see the smart people at Conflux are offering a virtual minicon this weekend. Looks like it might be worth checking out. And I love the fact they're offering it for 24 hours straight, so hopefully there'll be some overseas attention too.

Magic Casements

I've just received an invite to be on a panel at Magic Casements in Sydney in March. Magic Casements is a free spec fic themed writing day run by the NSW Writers Centre ably guided by [info]chrisbarnes one of their members who attended the first Clarion South in 2004. Chris has a worthy fetish about all things sharp and metal and pointy and provided much entertainment at Clarion South with his sword.

I'm on a panel about magazines and small presses, which often generates a fair bit of interest. If you've got any thoughts on topics that should be covered post your thoughts below.

The NSW Writers' Centre always puts on a great show with interesting panels and plenty of authors on hand to chat to. For me it's  a good chance to catch up with my buddies. I'll post a link to the program when its finalised but if you're in Sydney or you need an excuse to get there, Magic Casements is worth attending.
